Gospel Home Members Prayer
Almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Thank you that by your grace, through faith in the work of Christ, you have united us to yourself, and to one another.
Please help us to seek you with all our heart, to love you, submit to your ways, and to trust you in all areas of our life.
As we sit under the authority of your word, grant us a growing desire to know you more and to make you known to the people around us.
Help us by the power of your Spirit to live godly lives by daily responding to your word and encouraging one other to do likewise; that we would increasingly please you in all we do, say and think.
Help us to be committed in prayer for the work of the gospel, not least in St Helen’s and especially Gospel Home; to pray for one another and especially our leaders. And in view of your amazing grace to us, help us to increasingly respond by offering our lives in sacrificial service; that we’d cheerfully use our time, gifts and resources to further the work of Christ in and through the St Helen’s church family, and especially within Gospel Home.
Merciful God, we pray all this that we might grow to maturity in Christ, and that as individuals and as a church family we’d be to the praise of your glorious grace.
